Located on the doorstep of the majestic Galloway Hills and Galloway Forest Park, the 14 acre Black Clauchrie Estate lies on the beautifull Scottish borders of Dumfries and Galloway, Ayrshire and Arran.

Tucked away from the hustle aand bustle of everyday life, this secluded and tranquil haven is set on high moorland, in an unspoilt landscape of purple heather, mature trees, lush green vegetation,secluded lochs and rushing rivers. The House was originally built as a shooting lodge and its beautiful, wild surroundings are filled with regional wildlife.

Our workshops and accommodation will be based on the Black Clauchrie Estate where you will enjoy the home comforts of this lovely Country House. We will aim to spend two whole days on location making the most of the landscape and environment. We will look at ways to improve on our images from composition, using the light, exposure calculations, depth of field etc. Graham will be on hand to guide and instruct as required.
